Scammed by an online betting site: what to do

Save screenshots of everything — balance, bet history, withdrawal request, every support conversation, and the terms in force on the date.

First: gather the evidence

Save screenshots of everything — balance, bet history, withdrawal request, every support conversation, and the terms in force on the date. Note dates, times and ticket numbers. Without a record, a complaint loses weight.

Where to complain

Start with the brand's own support, in writing, with a deadline. If there is no reply, use independent complaint platforms (Trustpilot) and, if the brand holds a local licence, the regulator's channel.

For larger amounts, consumer-protection bodies and small-claims routes are options.

How to lower the risk next time

Prefer brands with a local licence and a public track record. Verify your account before depositing. Start with small amounts at a new brand. And be wary of any platform that makes withdrawals hard or changes the terms after you have deposited.
